With Mother’s Day only a few days away, I have been looking at a lot of pictures and videos of Zoey and her kittens to post in her honor this Sunday. I came across this video of Zoey interacting with Mia who was only 3 months old at the time and decided to post this as a precursor to that tribute. I find it fascinating that despite Zoey growling and telling Mia to behave, she still takes the time to teach her how to play as well as to lick and groom her in love in between the reprimanding!
Rolz on high alert for possible lizard invasions...
There is no doubt that living in Florida is like having gifts-from-God weather on a daily basis. From the gloriously sun drenched days to the tropical nights filled with the lingering scents of jasmine and orange blossoms intoxicatingly enticing the nostrils, it is a wonderment indeed. But even for us in Florida, the adage “April Showers Brings May Flowers” has special meaning to our 24/7/365 day calendar that barely has a change in seasons.
While I’ll admit I have not gotten caught up in the royal fanfare of the impending nuptials of William and Kate, nor do I plan on getting up at 4:00 a.m. to watch the blessed event (do you hear me, Zoey), I still felt it appropriate to post our tribute and congratulations to the royal lovebirds, Zee and Zoey style! After all, no one has more of a fairy tale love story than these two feline aristocats. Read more
