It’s that crazy time of the year when we set our clocks back by an hour so that it’s nearly pitch dark by the time lunch rolls around… Maybe it’s just me, but psychologically, it really messes with my mind and can be a bit depressing. Not to mention, I always forget to change the clock on my car, so I never really quite know what time it is when I drive…

Luckily my cats have no problem with the time change – regardless of what day of the year it is, they always know when to come wake me up in the morning for breakfast and they always know when it is time for dinner!

Peanut is our official ambassador of “I’ll go get mom and drag her away from the computer so she will come and feed us all”

How do you all feel about the time change? Is it just another day for you, or do you feel the affects of it getting dark earlier in the evening? Do your cats react differently?

Frightening, huh? Wasn’t Christmas just a couple of months ago? It sure seems that way! Sigh… the older you get, the quicker time really goes!

Anyhow, have a great Wednesday everyone and enjoy each and every minute you have… even the annoying ones, like standing in the wrong line at the grocery store, or the boring ones, like when you’re at the bottom of your “procrastination pile” and are resigned to doing something you really hate, like filing old paperwork. Those minutes – from the good to the bad – are all we get… oh, and while you’re at it, hug a cat… that’s always time well spent!

*Yawn* How long is this going to take? A cat’s gotta eat and nap, ya know…

This is exhausting… what is the problem, lady? You just applied for a job a minute ago that was purrfect for you – how come they didn’t call you yet?

Clearly I’ve done everything I can… Can we please focus back on me again… Being cute is a 24/7 job around here!

Sigh… thanks Jazmine! But I can’t argue with your logic – being cute is a 24/7 job and thank goodness you will never be in jeopardy of being let go like I was! Sorry I couldn’t find a job in less than 10 minutes… I promise I’ll keep trying!

We all know what summer TV can be like for us humans – a vast wasteland of repeats and sub- quality programming. The same can be said for CWTV (Cat Window TV). Sure watching birds, lizards, and bugs outside the window on a hot day can cause a tail to twitch, but after awhile, where’s the drama and intrigue? Yeah, the Blue Jays squawk a lot and the Morning Doves like to build nests in the hedges, but it’s relatively tame viewing and that’s why my gang is so happy fall is here because it means the squirrel channel on CWTV is back for a new season!
