Big Red remains on our bed as the nights continue to be chilly here in South Florida… Zee in the back with Kizmet, Mia, and Rolz up front.

Even though it’s been unseasonably chilly here in South Florida, we are not complaining at all because we know it has been brutal for many of you across the country with temperatures so low that schools have been forced to close. The worst of it for us is putting on an extra blanket on the bed and bundling up in a sweater… so yeah,  not really so bad, all things considered. We wish we could snap our fingers and magically make it warmer for you, but that’s just not possible. But what we can do is share some pictures of us kitties enjoying a sunbeam… we hope they will make your day just a bit brighter and give you something to warm your hearts! It’s always a good idea to organize and prioritize your excuses for not being able to get stuff done for the day…

Excuses? When it comes to doing the laundry, making the bed, cooking dinner, vacuuming, ironing, grocery shopping, paying the bills, cleaning the house, dusting, and just about any other household chore, having an excuse why you CAN’T do it is the best! Even though I am just about one of the most organized, goal-oriented, driven, and go get-em type of people I know, I am also a huge procrastinator, especially when it comes to the above and I love nothing better than a good excuse not to do something. A couple days ago for Wordless Wednesday I posted several pictures of the gang “letting it all hang out.” It consisted of them in various stages of relaxation with their adorable bodies hanging off one of our cat condos as well as the kitchen counter. The early days… back when all four of Zee and Zoey’s kittens lived with us – at this point they did not have permanent names and we could barely tell them apart.

Once upon a time for 4 little kittens, hanging out consisted of a very orderly world with a floor and 4 walls. And then one day at approximately 8 weeks of age, the floodgates of the bedroom door opened up and a whole new world existed. One that was tall and could be climbed.
