This Cat’s Got My Back…Literally…
I’m at work all week long, but on evenings and weekends, I spend a good amount of my time at my computer. Kizmet is my best-friend buddy and prefers I spend time with him. Rather than wait for me to wrap up the day to go sit on the couch for the rest of the night, he’s ingeniously figured out his own way of being next to me. And when I say next to me, I mean literally next to me.
I will be doing whatever, and out of nowhere it happens. Somehow Kizmet is able to jump up from behind my office chair and land with a settled thud into what is both my back, and the back of the chair. I can’t imagine it’s remotely comfortable for him, but he’s happy as can be with his body wedged between mine and the chair.
He purrs like mad and I’ve always wondered what he looked like from the other side. Thanks to Dan and his camera work, I now know…see for yourself!! Happy Sunday everyone – hope your day is as relaxing as a cat on your back, doing his or her best impression of being a sweater draped over a chair without a care in the world!
I love Kizmet’s complete innocence – like it’s perfectly normal to be napping, wedged in between a human and a chair!
Kizmet has morphed himself into liquid cat and he looks like I’ve casually tossed him over my chair like one of my old sweaters!

Oh, I love this!!! As you know, Valentina insists on sitting with me when I work but she has her own chair!! This is simply adorable. Love the photos Dan took!! Kizmet you are simply divine the way you “hang out” with your mom! Now Vali may get a new idea!!! Ha!
That’s pretty funny. We try to squeeze in small spots where the mom is sitting, but we’ve never tried to hang off the back of chair.
