Happy 3rd birthday Jazmine!

Time truly does fly by. Monday was my birthday and here it is, only 6 days later, and it already feels like a month has gone by! For all of you that extended birthday wishes to me on Facebook, thank you so much. Your kindness is overwhelming and it was so nice to be spoiled like that! Due to time restraints, I wasn’t able to share this earlier, but there was another birthday this week too, only this one was far more important and exciting than mine—our sweet Jazmine turned 3 years old!!

Jazmine loves to hang out on the kitchen counter…she certainly wouldn’t want to miss an opportunity for food…

So for Sunday-Selfie the spotlight is all hers. She’s grown into quite the young lady cat since Dan and I first laid eyes on her at the Global Pet Expo in Orlando. Always a happy and personable girl, she’s become even more so. She used to be a bit shy when it came to group snuggling and affection, but now she’s come into her own and sits between Dan and me on the couch at night when we watch TV (surrounded by Mia, Zoey, Zee, and Kizmet…and occasionally, Rolz and Peanut).

Hanging out on the couch and making biscuits on the afghan is one of Jazmine’s favorite activities!

She also ventures onto our bed at night as opposed to standing guard in the bathroom looking for errant lizards that might dare attack us. She’s a highly communitive cat, adding comments to any conversation Dan and I might have with her and she also loves to drop plush toys at our feet for some games of fetch.

Lucky me – this is my office companion when I’m on the computer!

Happy birthday sweet girl. You’re the sunshine to our house and we love you so much.
