Time truly does fly by. Monday was my birthday and here it is, only 6 days later, and it already feels like a month has gone by! My Zee is the epitome of a Maine Coon cat – he’s loving, loyal, and intelligent.

I love Zee. He’s such a sweet, gentle, and kind cat and he demonstrates his love back to me each and every day. He talks to me with his extensive meow vocabulary, he follows me around like a loyal puppy dog, and he patiently waits for me to get up off the couch at night to go to bed so he can cuddle next to me before he eventually settles in to sleep next to my head for the rest of the night. He also brings me gifts at various times of the day, such as stuffed toys dropped at my feet to show his love. But what he did this past Tuesday was so touching, thoughtful, and heartfelt it brought me to tears. Read more

Happy 11th Birthday to my beautiful Zee who was born on 9/7/2005.

Wednesday was Zee’s 11th birthday. Due to my work schedule, I’m not able to blog during the week like I used to, so I wasn’t able to put up a post to celebrate the day. I did share the news on Facebook and I want to thank everyone who was kind enough to wish him a Happy Birthday. Another Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day has passed and I want to give all of you a heartfelt thanks who participated, whether by sharing a blog post, leaving a comment, visiting other bloggers, joining the Facebook event page, or participating privately from afar. I know it’s a bittersweet day – for many, the memories of a lost pet are far too fresh to share, and for others, it’s a time to reflect on days gone by from many, many years ago, perhaps dredging up old wounds.
