Kizmet’s Korner – What Exactly do you Mean by “Being Good?”
I don’t know about you, but I find it impossible to look at Kizmet’s sweet and precious little face without my heart melting. Our darling boy who could never do wrong turned 8 months a few days ago and he is the most endearing and intelligent cat I have ever known. We don’t know his lineage, but he has the wise mind and soul of someone who has seen other lives and traveled to faraway places.
He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES his feline family, but has one little habit that may come as a shock… it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE for him to be a good boy when it comes to hanging out with them for extended periods of time. That’s right – the angel and devil on his shoulder struggle. For example, when he snuggles with one of the other kitties – usually Zoey, Mia, or Rolz, he will put his paw around them in a loving hug that is off the charts adorable. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6…. by the time you countdown to 1, the overwhelming and uncontrollable urge to wrestle turns the sweet hug into an unprovoked, out of nowhere choke-hold move, completely ruining the moment.
Napping is one thing, playtime is another and it usually consists of him ambushing one of them who either did not realize it was playtime and was caught off guard (normally that would be Rolz), or one of them that did not want to play at all (usually that is Mia). Occasionally playtime is actually instigated by someone other than him (Zoey), but he typically goes overboard with his enthusiasm and she will gallop off in a huff when she has had enough!
Obviously you don’t believe me, hence the need for visual proof. Here is a typical day in the life with Kizmet as he shares his special brand of love with his kitty mates!
Sounds like he rules the household – at least in his own mind! He’s adorable!
Ok now that I have seen this I can get dressed and begin my day! Will read the rest of my email later. Don’t want anything to ruin the utter DELIGHT I feel after having watched this! OMC how adorable!
I love the close up expression on Kizmet’s face near the end, he looks like “Who? Me?”

Well, the good and wise comes from the tabby part, but I don’t know where the bad comes from!
He is so cute! He reminds me of Flynn. Eric can be sleeping peacefully and Flynn will go and give him an ear wash. Eric gets a big smile on his face as he enjoys it, then Flynn goes for the throat. Peace shattered!

Who could resist you? We know you try to be good but sometimes it’s just too hard to not rustle up your siblings. You’re like the Dennis Menace of Cats. Totally adorable but oh so naughty. We love you no matter what you do or who you bat at.
What a joy to see Kizmet blend into his new family so seamlessly. He’s a wrestler like Odin with Domino. I see nothing bad or aggressive just good clean fun 🙂
Kizmet is still being a kitten! That;s what the mom says about Ernie…who acts the same way sometimes…but Ernie is almost 8 years old! Ha!

Wowzers! There is nothing more exciting than watching some excellent Kitty smackdowns! Mes gets the feeling that the others pull their punches with Kismet, purrhaps cause he is still a rambunctious kitten.

The actions on the video look so familiar. Reminds us of ourselves at times. Loved the upside-down neck hug with the drag across the floor.
