Fashionable Feline – A Photo Shoot for Jazmine’s 2nd Birthday!
When Jazmine came into our lives back in March of 2014, she was already on the path to becoming a full-fledged diva cat. Just look at that face – spunk, attitude, and confidence all rolled into one sweet kitty!
When you have a cat that came to you as a diva, when that said cat has a birthday, an ordinary blog post simply won’t do. Diva cats require celebrity treatment – perks, pampering, treats, adoration, and more. No quickie birthday card made from any old picture, with the words “Happy Birthday” hastily scrawled on it. No, it must be done right. A photo shoot with top notch photographers, lighting people, and makeup artists to make sure the card is of the utmost taste and style. So, in honor of the 2nd birthday of our darling, sweet, spoiled, diva princess – little miss Jazmine – please join me in this exclusive, behind the scenes look at how her special birthday card was created this year.
Before a suitable photo can be taken, Zoey adjusts the lighting and Mia touches up Jazmine’s hair and makeup.
With everything just right, the model poses for her close up shot.
Kizmet adjusts the focus and the photo shoot begins! Smile pretty for the camera, Jazmine, and say “mouse!”
After an exhausting 5 minute ordeal of trying to sit still, the model abruptly walked off the set to grab a quick bite of kibble and take a litter break. This was the only photo that was in focus, hence it was the only photo to chose from.
And voila! After applying a soft, Barbara Walters hide the wrinkles technique to the photo, Jazmine’s birthday photo is done. Add some festive balloons, fancy text, and a fake birthday hat and this is a photo worthy of any celebrity tabloid publication! Beautiful Jazmine – you don’t look anywhere near your 2 years of age!
I hope you enjoyed the photo shoot. And all kidding aside, while Jazmine is a diva, she is also the sweetest, kindest, and most incredible cat I have ever known. She’s a full range of just about everything – from a skilled hunter of lizards and bugs, to a wonderful companion that will sit on your lap and look deep into your eyes as she sings her love to you with her purrs.
Happy Birthday darling girl – we love you so, so much and I can assure all of you, she will have a day of spoiled, pampered luxury, just like she does every other day!!
