Doppelganger Sunday Selfie – Jazmine as Dewey the Library Cat!
It’s National Reading Month, so for Sunday Selfie, I thought this picture of Jazmine from 2014 was absolutely purrfect to share! She’s napping next to one of my favorite books, Dewey the Small Town Library Cat Who Touched the World, looking like she’s Dewey himself, only to grace the cover of her own book, Makin’ Biscuits – Weird Cat Habits and the Even Weirder Habits of the Humans Who Love Them, a scant few years later!!
Happy Sunday everyone – who’s your doppelganger cat? Oh, and if you’re looking for a great read for March, yes, Dewey is a great book, but Y’all, so is Jazmine’s book – it won three awards from the Cat Writers’ Association 2016 communications contest! Check it out here on Amazon!

Eric had a doppelganger called Sunny who found him when reading blogs. They even had the same nose freckles. We persuaded them to start a blog too, but now he is romping at the Bridge with my boys.
Aww, those are both lovely selfies this week. We have dreams too but so far, besides being rescued/rescuing my staff, none of mine have come true . . . . well certainly not the everlasting cream supply! 😉

Creamsicle cats are beautiful! and female creamsicle cats are rather rare. Jazmine is fluffier than Dewey, but both are wonderful stars in their own right!
Are you SURE that isn’t Jazzy jazzing up the cover of that Dewey book?
If not, Jazzy certainly has a twin out there somewhere!

Jazmine does look like Dewey. That book and Homer’s Odyssey inspired me to start a blog about my cat.
