Making the Grade – What Makes a Blog Post Successful?

Imperfect-bloggerWith Blog Paws only a couple of weeks away, it naturally got me to thinking of all things, blogging, which led me to the realization after self-analysis of the top basic rules to follow when creating a good blog post, that I was mediocre at best and needed to give myself the “Imperfect Blogger Award.” Or, if you prefer, “The Flawed Blogger Award,” or “The Blogger who Just Can’t Conform to the Golden Rules of Blogging Award,” or just simply, “The Bad Blogger Award.” Read more

National Hairball Awareness Day – What is FURminator up to Now to Promote Good Health and Grooming?

So when I found out today was National Kids and Pet Day, it really spoke to me as someone who deeply understands how important and treasured the relationship between a child and a pet can be. dare-to-dream-small

As you know, one of my main missions with Zee and Zoey’s blog is to spread the message of cat responsibility to a larger audience outside of my cat circle of friends and peers which is no easy task. Trying to widen my reach and meet new people outside of my genre, I happened upon a wonderful blog the other day that is called “Searching for the Happiness.” The author, Wendy McCance, writes with a reflective and thought provoking style that really caught my attention and I find that it is nice to sometimes frequent blogs that are not exclusively cat related. And yes, you may audibly gasp here… Read more
