My very own box… It’s EXACTLY what I wanted for Christmas!

Hey everyone! Rolz here! And Oh My Cat, but do I ever have news to share! It was so weird, but out of absolutely NOWHERE a purr-fectly pawsome box was delivered to me (and apparently the rest of my feline family, but that’s not the point) from the Jasper McKitten-Cats. I have no idea why they would be sending me a box – my human screamed something about a Secret Paws – but I know for a fact none of us cats asked for paws this Christmas, secret or not. Read more

Attending a Purina Better With Pets Summit, while an amazing experience, is also an overwhelming one. So much insightful information shared in the span of a day by so many experts – how could I possibly come back home and do justice to all I had learned in a mere blog post or two? Editors Note: I decided to abandon my usual Caturday post, and instead participate in the super fun and wildly popular Sunday Selfie Blog Hop that was created by the talented Janet Blue of The Cat on My Head. Rather than be a traditional selfie post, I’m sharing some recent pictures I have taken (many of which some of you have already seen). There are good and bad, winners and losers -take a look to see what I mean and I’d love your opinions, insight, and suggestions as to what works for you with your cameras!  

My obsession with picture taking started when I saw Rolz grooming his sister, Mia. The look of pure contentment and adoration just radiated from her sweet little face and I knew I had to try to capture it for eternity. Camera: iPhone 4

So now that I’m home all day and night with the cats, I find that I’m drawn to them more so than ever. EVERYTHING they do fascinates me and I’m constantly feeling the need to photograph them as if I am under some sort of hypnotic spell to do so.

This is all well and good… except for the one glaring flaw to the whole equation… I DON’T TAKE GOOD PICTURES. Or I should say, with the current technology at my disposal, I am unable to manage my cameras to take good pictures. Read more

When someone starts an event by stating cats and people are better together (said by Nina Leigh Krueger, Chief Marketing Officer for Purina North America), well, let’s just say you had me at meow. As a matter of fact, whether discussing cats, dogs, having a scrumptious gourmet lunch, participating in interactive exhibits, or anything else, Purina had my undivided meow during the entire duration of the 2015 Better With Pets Summit (BWPS) that was held in the Brooklyn Expo Center on November 3rd. Okay… much as the cats would probably enjoy it, I haven’t literally gone fishing. It’s just not my thing and I’ll leave it at that. I’m borrowing the term to let you all know I will be off-line for awhile. My oldest step-daughter, Crystal, is visiting from Boston for a week and I actually have plans that don’t center around my computer. I know, it’s shocking news to digest, but I am fairly certain the world will get along just fine without me for a few days!

Have a wonderful week all – I will be back soon, sans fish, and hopefully will be refreshed and ready to jump back into the world of all things cats!
