Reflecting back to the wonderful first outing we shared with Kizmet last week.

Last week, through words and pictures, I was able to share the joy and amazement that Kizmet experienced in his very first outdoor adventure. It was a milestone event  that I will never forget and I wrote about it with such vivid story telling imagery that you literally felt as if you were outside with us sharing the glorious day. Bravo Kizmet!! What a wonderful excursion you had! What I did not share with you, however, was the fact the event was rampant with controversy and blatant glossing over of the full facts of the outing and I felt I must come clean with the real story… the behind the scenes of the incredibly adorable and amazing morning we shared with Kizmet via our darling  Zee and the part he played in this simply too perfect moment. If you are a cat guardian, you have certain issues you have to face, such as irreplaceable family heirlooms and collectibles. Basically, what you have to ask yourself, is do you want to keep them safe within your possession to pass on to future generations, or do you want them to be knocked off wherever you have them on display to be smashed into a kaleidoscope horror of a million pieces of whatever fragile material they are made of onto the floor the split second your cat becomes distracted by a flying moth? Tact has never been Zoey's strong suit...

Sigh… I knew it would happen sooner or later, but with Zoey, it usually tends to be sooner when it involves herself. The election. Yes, on the surface it would appear she and Zee are the benevolent hosts of the campaign, but truth be told, Zoey is quite miffed she is not allowed to be in the running’s. By now, you all know that Zee and Zoey have a HUGE announcement that will take place on Tuesday, August 21st. I guess it involves some cat stuff, some other cats, and the entire world. That’s all I know. Anyhow, with all of that going on, you can only imagine the whirlwind of activity and preparations going on here at the house with Zee and Zoey. Well, after a week long mystery, the cat is finally out of the bag. Zee and Zoey have come clean and admitted that something is up, and that it’s billboard worthy BIG! They still say they didn’t order all the cat stuff, well, except for the sunglasses, and that all the boxes are part of a master plan they have in mind. Basically, they are tired of a few things going on in this world and felt the need to step up and make some changes…

They can’t say anything just yet, but apparently cat loving humans have been sending them these boxes as part of the whole clandestine operation and they did not want to tell me about it until they were sure their mission could be successfully pulled off. I guess it involves some stuff, some other cats,  and the whole world. That’s all they would tell me. That, and oh yeah, they also told me they will  offically unveil the plans to the world this coming Tuesday, August 21st. This explains all the whispering behind my back that has been going on between the two of them and I highly suggest you set your alarms, mark your calendars, and take the day off from work. This sounds like something that has to be seen to be believed!
