Cat Snack Patrol with Bonus Photobomb
Like clockwork, I feed my gang of seven cats at 5:00 p.m. After cleaning up after them and trying to close my work day down, from around 5:30 to 6:00, I have “me time.” This is where I get caught up on emails, play games on my phone, etc., before I start to cook dinner at 6:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m. is also when the cats get a snack, which I guess equates to dessert if you are a human. Like a diligent soldier, Mia sits on the counter next to me during my “me time,” waiting for those two or three pieces of treats she lives for.
I decided to catch her waiting on camera, only to find out when I pulled up the picture that she had a friend in wait with her! That’s Rolz in the background! I should have figured as much. They are two peas in a snack pod when it comes to their daily ritual! How about you all? Do you have cats obsessed with snack rituals? Or do you have cats that like to photobomb pictures?
Oh, and P.S., good luck Mia. It’s officially that time of year when we set our clocks back one hour. Dinner time is dinner time to you, so you won’t be a fan of having to adjust your schedule! What am I saying? When it comes to cats and food, of course, it will be me adjusting to your schedule!
Beautiful photo of Mia, Deb! Sharing my life with only 2 (who don’t agree on and have nothing to do with each other for anything else), when they tag team me like this, I know I’m in trouble.
With the exception of Jazmine and Shadow, who are still mortal enemies after four years, my gang primarily get along. Those rare occasions when Jazmine and Shadow forget they hate one another and tag team me, I know I’m in trouble, too! LOL
Obsessed with food, and arguably snacks too. We make them interchangeable so we can avoid over feeding.
Have a lovely week

Snacks bring out everyone! Cute picture!
Fabulous photo of Mia, Deb, along with cute little photo bomber Rolz!
Dinner used to be at 6 pm here; now, because Fluff is an ex-colony, ex-foster cat, it’s “around 6ish” or whenever he demands it, whichever comes first 😉 Treats are before bedtime and he would not let them go.
Well, that certainly is a most beautiful selfie and a darn cute photo bomber too!
They are such cuties. XO
Mia, you look totally focused! Most of us live for treats and know exactly when those as well as our meals should be delivered. We absolutely hate this time change thing! We are delighted to have you on the hop with us this today. Have a meowvolous week!
No fan of the time change, and neither is June … ’cause “oh yes”, there is a fixed-clock in her tummy and it never changes! I don’t know how she knows, but knows she does. So, over several days I try to gently adjust in ten or fifteen minute increments. BUT: because I am very early to bed human, snak time remains at 8 pm, per the clock even tho she’ll head to the kitchen now at 7 pm … silly girl!
Our Angel Pipo was like that…snack time not only by the clock, but in a particular spot, too!
