Wordless Wednesday – Cats in High Places
In our house of kitty kings, queens, princes, and princesses, there is always a cat in high places or put on a pedestal at one point or another… literally. Just look at some of these pictures to see for yourself!
I told you we put our cats on a pedestal…. seen here is our two little princesses, Peanut and Mia.

While Zee enjoys lounging in high places like the cat condo and kitchen counter, his favorite place is a bit more middle of the road – the back of the couch cushion. He loves to be able to see all the comings and goings at a quick glance and this is where he watches TV with us when we finally relax and call it a night.
You can’t get much higher than this. Here is Mia atop one of the tiki rafters…. Goodness only knows how she gets up and down!
Kizmet loves to snooze on the top shelf of the cat condo.
To thine own self be true…. Harley does not do high places. Never has, never will. This is her napping on a perfectly placed pillow on the FLOOR for her to soak up a sun puddle. Wake me up when this post is over…
Yeah, it’s me, Mr. Jazz. Do me a favor and put down the camera…. I’m just getting a drink of water then it’s back to bed for a nap. I don’t do high places, I don’t do pictures, and I don’t do autographs. Sigh…
What a beautiful family mew have Auntie Deb- mew are fortunate to live amongst such royalty, and especially privileged to serve them. Humans trained by we royal kitties are chosen for their love, devotion, and understanding of the fact that felines are superior in intelligence and nature to humans. So be proud mew are a servant to Zee, Zoey, and the gang! MOL!

Harley and Jazz, you must be very confident since you don’t feel the need for high places. We all love high places. In fact mom did a post about it during the summer showing us in some unique places. I love your cat condo. wow! I remember Jackson talking about how cats are either “ground” dwellers or “tree dwellers” and it looks like most of your babies are tree dwellers. Miss Bella loves heights and when I lived in our house would always climb on top of a very high bookshelf but now she’s satisfied with her kitty condo perch. Sele is more like Jazz and prefers to not get so anxious about heights. Great photos as always!
I don’t really care, although I think Ichiro is a tree dweller and Gemini is more of a bush cat.
