When it Comes to Blending In, Cats are Masters of Disguise!

Not only do Peanut, Mia, and Rolz look alike at first glance, but when they’re on top of a leopard bedspread, they look like they could be pillows instead of cats!
I don’t know about you, but whenever I leave the house, I do a cat “head-count.” With my vision still blurry, this presents even more of a challenge than normal when I go to work in the morning, as my cats are quite the masters of disguise and sometimes they don’t cooperate when I call them! Usually, I can find most of them rather quickly, as they tend to hang out in the same spot, but sometimes one of them will be in a place that just eludes me.
In that tone, I thought I’d share some classic pictures from years gone by of my gang blending into the woodwork! Happy Sunday everyone and do your cats have a favorite blending in spot? And do you have a secret to finding them? I find when all else fails, typically shaking a bag of treats works! Or opening a forbidden door, like the guest bedroom! The thing that works the least? Frantically calling their name over and over, while walking throughout the entire house!

Jazmine loves to hang out behind our bedroom curtain…because clearly no one can see her…

When it’s Christmas time Kizmet loves to hide under the tree so that he blends in like he’s an ornament!

With her spotted pattern, when Mia sleeps on this cat pillow, it’s hard to tell where the cat starts, and the pillow ends!

Peanut is tucked so neatly into this chair cushion, you’d surely sit on her if you didn’t look before sitting down!

With Rolz and his toys, he likes to become one with them!

Zee is so perfectly posed on the coffee table that you would think he was part of the decorating scheme.

Zoey blends in with the blanket and bedspread like she’s one of the accessories!
A cats innate ability to blend in is why we love them so and why, I think, they nap so well on almost everything.Of course when your a Tuxedo Princess with a penchant for pink, then it is a tad more difficult….

Those are beautiful selfies. I love the camouflage one. Almost can’t tell where the cats are. Also love the Christmas ornament one. I’m gonna get that tree bulb.

Leonardo da Vinci is credited with having said that “cats are nature’s masterpieces” and truly it is so! They are living, breathing, purring works of art unsurpassed by anything man can imagine or create! *You’ll be amazed when your vision clears, how great it will be!*
Wow, that’s some great blending, kitties! We think you’re all chameleon cats!
They can become “invisible” and hard to find when they are right under your nose!
Those are all beautiful photos, but the first is my favourite.
I love how they blend in with their surroundings!!!
Happy Sunday Selfie and I hope you are recovering well!

Being a black cat, I can hide in many dark places and not be found. I’ve done it many times. ~Ernie
