Watercolor and Whiskers Wordless Wednesday
Today’s Wordless Wednesday is sponsored by my favorite feline couple – Zee and Zoey. In the above image, Dan was able to take a photo of Zoey and translate it into such a beautiful work of art that it looks like a priceless watercolor painting. The other image is of our handsome Zee who has such glorious whiskers that it seems like you could touch them yourself!

Zee and Zoey are two of the most lovely kitties I’ve ever seen- Zoey’s stunning green eyes and Zee’s cute lil heart nosie are CATabulous features. Auntie Deb, my Mom wants to know how do mew NOT just sit and stare, mesmerized by their beauty and adorableness all day? How do mew get ANYTHING done? I had a good laugh at these questions as Mom looked at me quizically. ‘Mom!’ I told her, ‘ALL humans owned by cats have this problem, it’s just one of the many benefits of being privileged enough to worship us- DUH!!’
*shakes with laughter and runs off to nom as Mom is left dismissed with contempt once AGAIN*

Deb, by the bye, did you happen to see the video on AnimalPlanet of the Savannah Kittens? The kittens look like they could belong to Zoey!
Susan – I did not catch the video on Savannah’s but I LOVE that breed!! I did catch an episode on Bengal kittens which just melted my heart and reminded me so much of helping Zoey raise her babies!

Dan always takes such beautiful photos that do look like works of arts/paintings! Zee and Zoey do shine. I wish Dan could take photos of the girls as I know they’d turn out beautifully.
It would be wonderful if Dan could photograph Sele and Miss Bella, Wendy!! Maybe one day we will all meet up to do so!

Oh da tabbies… we are sorry about the dood man Jazz… he is a bit camera shy, so pictures of him are hard to come by!! We will have to try to work on that for you…

They do look like works of art. Dan is very talented. I love Zoeys green eyes, green has always been my favorite.
Zees whiskers are amazing, they remind me of my 2nd cat Henery, he had those amazing whiskers.
Zees heart shaped nose is so adorable.
You could sell those pictures as fine works of art.

Wow–these are Photoshopped (or otherwise manipulated) photos? Or are they paintings of some kind?
Spitty – the photo of Zoey is one that Dan applied a technique to in a program called Lightroom. The image is stunning to begin with, but he was having fun turning it into something that looked like a painting. The picture of Zee is au natural. The day Dan took it, we were outside at a time when the sunlight was a photographers dream. That and the fact that Zee can’t take a bad picture made the photo even more stunning!
They are fabulous!!!
