Another Cat Truth Revealed at Zee & Zoey’s Chronicle Connection…

Well, the polls are officially closed for Zee & Zoey’s Cat Ruler of the World Contest and Campaign for a Cause and I don’t mind admitting that I am a bit worn out… Votes still have to be tallied and winners still have to be announced, but the campaign itself is over until Tuesday, September 18th when all the results will be revealed.
You take one look at the above photo of Zoey and Harley and you would think they were worn out too… But, truth be told, that picture is the true essence of why cats are smarter than humans. I got not one whit of help from Zee, Zoey, and gang. They were nappers before the campaign was even conceived in my mind, they napped during the ENTIRE campaign, and they will nap long after the campaign is over.
Me on any given day...
The lesson to all of this – cats don’t stress out and are the ULTIMATE multi-taskers. They manage their eating, litter, and *play-time so effectively that they can afford to nap all day. Check list – done, done, and done. For me, I check one item off and two more crop up…
And that, dear friends, is the truth as to why cats should rule the world. They clearly are much more efficient than us humans and we should try to follow in their smart little paw prints!
*Play-time consists of such favorite activities as toe biting (human’s, of course), chasing wadded up balls of paper, sitting in empty boxes, and randomly running full speed from one room to the next for no apparent reason whatsoever. We cats are far more intelligent than the Humans. Not only do we find time for all the napping we need, we do it more elegantly too.
