Wordless Wednesday – From Crickets to Cats – Happy Blog Anniversary!

Since it’s Wordless Wednesday, I’ll try to keep it to a minimum, but just wanted to say “Happy First Anniversary Blog!!” Exactly one year ago today, Zee & Zoey’s Chronicle Connection was released to the world (or, at the very least, to a handful of my friends and family that actually stopped by to check the blog out). Comments were few and far between and it seemed the only strong connections I was making, was with the crickets in the background that appeared to be my only readership! Well, what a difference a year makes…Not only has this blog expanded and taken me to directions I never would have imagined, it also has allowed me to make so many wonderful new feline and human friends who I absolutely treasure and adore. The number of cat lovers is astounding and I cannot imagine a better group of people to be a part of. Read more

A Typical Lazy Afternoon for the Zee & Zoey Gang!

I'm a movie star now!! Check out this pawsome video featuring myself, Zoey, Mia, Peanut, Rolz, Jazz, and even an appearance from Harley!

Heaven’s knows I’ve been spoiled by Dan and the extraordinary gallery of photos that he has taken of the cats over the years for me to chose from when I share a post with you all. Now, he has taken his talents to the big screen (or should I say the big computer screen) as I proudly share his first ever ZeeZoey Partners video production! Please be sure to view this in full screen mode with the volume turned up, as you will be treated to a visual and audio feast of images and sounds! This was his first project out of the gate, as he is still learning the program, so I can only imagine how much more amazing and creative he will get as time goes on!! Hope you enjoy this as much as we do!

Mine… Mine… Mine… Wordless Wednesday

Just chillin with my new toy...

Now that Zee has turned six, he feels he has done his job – he’s been a good husband to Zoey (albeit out of wedlock) and helped raise four very active kittens into successful young cats. Well, now it’s his time to take a stand for himself….

"Excuse me Zee," says Jazz, "but I'm the eldest cat here and I want that toy!"

Zoey glares as she wonders what is going on. Peanut is ready to help investigate for her Mom.

"Hmmmpfh.... I'll just take that if you don't mind. After all, I AM the Queen," says Zoey.

"Okay... NO MORE MR. NICE GUY," says Zee politely. "Possession is 9/10th of the law and this mouse is MINE!! Is that okay with you, Zoey?"

Happy 6th Birthday to My Sweet Zee!!!!!!

While today may be Wordless Wednesday, more importantly, today is my sweet little Zee’s 6th Birthday!! I hope you will all take a quick minute to send your birthday love to him on this special day, because he really is a special cat in every sense of the word. He has filled not only my life with absolute love, joy, devotion, and companionship, but that of Dan, his beloved Zoey, and his children Mia, Peanut, and Rolz, who adore the ground he walks on. I could talk about this sweet boy for days on end, but suffice it to say he is one of the most amazing creatures I have ever had the pleasure to share my life with.

Have a great day my special boy!! Love from human Mom and Dad, Zoey, Mia, Peanut, Rolz, Jazz, and Harley!! (And your son from Boston, Zeuss Catt)

Will the Real Zee and Zoey Please Stand Up!!

After I got back from BlogPaws and all the swag was dumped on the kitchen floor, the cats were suitably curious and impressed…. but wait a minute, what’s that over there in the corner?

While the others are distracted by the cat toys, Zee notices something in the far distance and raises his tail as a signal of alarm to the others!

"What the heck?" hisses Zoey as she jumps up to the counter for a better view to asess the potential dangerous situation

What the kitties did not realize, is that I had taken a Flat Pets class at BlogPaws and made life size standing duplicates of Zee and Zoey!! Sure, the edges were jaggedy and I did a bad job, but to the cats, they were certain intruders were in the house and they were NONE TO PLEASED!!! While I don’t have pictures of everyone’s reaction, I can firmly tell you now how my cats would react to the question I have asked myself numerous times lately – how would they feel if we brought another cat-mate into our household?
