Sleepy Cat Saturday…
The female human insists on droning on and on about being tired… working all day then coming home at night to get caught up on emails and blogging… writing intense and informative articles about spay/neuter all month that are taking all her time… having to pay the bills and clean the house and on and on…. Dear heavens woman, get a grip. No one cares and the whole conversation is dreadfully boring. Everybody is busy and everyone wishes they had more hours in the day to get stuff done. It truly is simple… just post some pictures of what we will be doing all day Saturday and we suggest you take our advice and do the same… Sigh… humans…. why do they have to make everything so complicated?

Okay – now off with you all! We have some serious napping to do and don’t want to be disturbed! Zee, Rolz, and Harley will be following suit soon. Dear Zee and Zoey and the gang: We are having our rental house sold out from under us, so today we are all packed into the car and driving around while the realtor shows the house yet again. Then Jen will be looking for a new place for us to move while we engage in some of this great napping. At least some of us will be rested, and that’s what counts!

TAKE THE DAY OFF! Maybe the weekend, nap with your kitties, play with your kitties,
they’ll love it and you can recharge your batterys, so to speak.
When I was in the human rat race, OH I was a failure If the house wasn’t
sparkly clean, all clothes washed and dried, meals made. Plus, I was always getting
calls from work. Now I know the value of rest, but wish I could do more. oh Well.

I can’t tell you how often I have looked at my sleeping cats and feelings of envy reared their ugly head! I’ve often said I want to be a cat in my next life, just to know what it feels like to not have a care in the world!
More, more!!! I loved that video and all those beautiful sleepy dreaming faces. Wish I could snuggle up with all of them, but of course I have two wonderful girls who are perfect cat nap mates.

This is what they did all week (well, most of it) while I slaved away at my computer and left for meetings. But not today! Today I have tortured them into play and activity! What is this? Our human is moving around, carrying things, making noise? We must supervise! All will sleep well tonight.

We SO agree with all of you. Our mom and dad do way too much STUFF over the weekend. They should take a cue from us kittehs and SNOOZE!
We SO agree with you!!! Humans have a LOT LOT LOT to learn from us kitties about napping, relaxation and stress management. The power of curling up into a soft warm ball of fur for a snooze is unmatched.
