Happy 6th Birthday to Mia, Peanut, Rolz, and Zeuss Catt!
Really??!! Mia, Peanut, and Rolz are six today? How the heck did that happen? Didn’t they just have their 5th birthday a few months ago? That’s what it sure seems like. Wow… time just keeps flying by and there’s not a darn thing I can do about it!
Since I can’t slow time down, I guess we might as well celebrate the occasion, so please help me wish my darling babies a happy 6th (and a happy 6th to Zeuss Catt too, who lives in Boston with his human family). I don’t have a crazy day planned for them, but I did happen to find this amazing birthday cake for cats made with tuna, cheese, eggs, and shrimp. Click here for the link for the recipe and I think I might just make it for them this weekend as a belated gift.

I present a provocative case in which I ask you to pretend for a moment you are not part of the cat world and don’t deliberately seek out cat websites, blogs, and other cat related venues. Based on mainstream TV, radio, etc. would you know about the staggering numbers of cats on the streets and in shelters and the importance of spay/neuter?
