Zee & Zoey’s Cat Chronicles First Place Winner for BlogPaws Photo Caption Contest!

The cats of Zee & Zoey's Cat Chronicles make a dream come true by winning the BlogPaws 2011 Photo Caption ContestWe Wish we Will, we Wish we Might, oh Dear BlogPaws Judges, let it be our Human Mom on a Flight Tonight. She Works so Hard, Day and Night, a Trip to Virginia Would be oh so Right!

When I entered this picture of Mia, Zoey, Zee, and Peanut looking out the window, I felt it had some sort of dreamy, magical feel to it, almost as if they were wishing upon a star for me that I might win a trip to BlogPaws. Turns out it was magical, because it was chosen as the first place winner for the BlogPaws Photo Caption Contest to win a trip to the 2011 conference that will be held on August 25 – 27 in Tysons Corner, VA.

When I got the call from Yvonne DiVita, Co-Founder of BlogPaws to let me know I had won, I felt like a little kid on Christmas morning looking at all the gifts Santa had left under the tree! What a blessing to be surrounded by so many talented people I will be meeting – some I have never communicated with, some I have briefly met before, some who I have become casually acquainted with through Facebook and blogging, and some who I will be meeting for the first time who have become treasured friends of mine. To say that BlogPaws has changed my life, would not be stretching the truth. Through this wonderful organization, I have been able to bring Zee and Zoey’s world to a platform I never thought possible.

I am so grateful for this amazing prize and I congratulate the two Second Prize winners, Rebecca Braglio of the philly dog and Cathy Erickson of  The Great Iowa Pet Expo for their great photos. Please click this announcement link for all the details on the prizes and winning pictures and captions.

I can’t wait to see you either Ingrid – this time, unlike the Pet Writer’s Conference, we will actually meet in person! 🙂

  5. What an awesome pictures! Congrats to your mom. I hope you don’t miss her too much during her weekend away.

    • Deb says:

Thank you Link Bartholomew! We are actually more worried about our Mom missing us… she is a bit neurotic and doesn’t like to be away from us for long! But, because it’s BlogPaws and there are so many pawsome people who are going to be there, she actually is very excited about going!!! Meows from Zee and Zoey

Thank you so much Linda! Sometimes you really can luck out and be at the right place at the right time… they happened to be looking at a bird at the time, so they were all in a trance!
