Feline Quotable Photo Series – To Cure Tension, Just Look at a Sleeping Cat

I truly wish I had more time to gaze upon my sleeping cats. As Jane Pauley so accurately states, you absolutely cannot look at one without feeling the tension fade away from your stressful day…

Margaret Jane Pauley (born October 31, 1950 in Indianapolis, Indiana), better known as Jane Pauley, is an American television journalist, and has been involved in news reporting since 1975. She is best known for her 13-year tenure on NBC’s Today program, followed by 12 years as co-host of Dateline NBC, and for her public acknowledgements of her struggle with mental health and bipolar disorder.  She is married to the Doonesbury cartoonist, Garry Trudeau, and they have three children. Especially when they are in a lovely sunny spot and the photo is gorgeous!

  4. I usually start day dreaming looking at my girls sleeping and wish I were them! Tension does melt away and I’m reminded of the simple things about life and how to enjoy them.

Btw, if you haven’t seen this live kitten cam, it’s a must to check out!

Thank you for sharing that video stream Sele and Miss Bella! I hope they will all be okay. I sure do wish we had thought to do a kitten cam with Zee & Zoey’s babies. Of course, back then, I had no idea I would be laid off, write a book, and have a blog… oh well!!

  5. Carolyn says:

  7. Dawn says:

So true with dogs too! Pets are wonderful stress-relievers. Even when they do something naughty it is still better than the tension felt at the workplace.

(This is my first visit to your blog. Found it through the Wordless Wednesday blog hop. Very nice website! I am so envious.)

    • Deb says:

You are so right Dawn! I find that when my kitties do something naughty, that often I can’t keep a straight face because they are so darn cute even while they are being bad!! Thank you for stopping by to comment and for your kind words about my blog – I appreciate the compliment and hope to see you more often!! 🙂
