Caturday – Cats in Charge
In preparation for my upcoming trip to the Cat Writers’ Conference in White Plains, NY, I wanted to make sure my blog posts were up to date, so I decided to employ the talents of feline siblings, Rolz and Mia, who PROMISED me they had everything under control and would manage the blog for me.
Being the cynical skeptic that I am, I wanted to believe them and kept my paws crossed that they would entertain you this Caturday with a delightful feline tale of fun and fancy. I must admit that I wasn’t all that convinced that they would step up to the plate, so, needless to say I nagged them endlessly until I departed on Thursday for my trip. They basically gave me a steely glare as I walked out the door, clearly miffed that I did not trust them.
Well… here it is, Saturday, and I woke up with anticipation to see what wonderful story would greet me on my blog…. I guess this picture is worth a thousand words, because it certainly sums up the extent of their help in one quick glance….
Oh you two sure look like you are going to really take care of the blog. Looks like you might nap through the whole time. Have a happy Saturday.

It’s just not the same here without you Deb, but the cats and I each did three things today: miss you, miss you and miss you. If we had a single flower for every time we think about you, the cats and I could meander forever in our garden. Love is missing someone whenever you’re apart, but somehow feeling warm inside because you’re close in heart. xxxooo

Thank you everyone for stopping by while I was at the CWA Conference! Everything is well on the home front – I brought home lots of goodies, so all is forgiven that I abandoned them for a few days!! 🙂
