Birthdays, Sunday-Selfie, and Remembering 9/11
Happy 11th Birthday to my beautiful Zee who was born on 9/7/2005.
Wednesday was Zee’s 11th birthday. Due to my work schedule, I’m not able to blog during the week like I used to, so I wasn’t able to put up a post to celebrate the day. I did share the news on Facebook and I want to thank everyone who was kind enough to wish him a Happy Birthday. But rather than focus on the fact this post is late, for Sunday-Selfie I thought I’d share a few Zee pictures in his honor.
This was Zee and I back in 2012. We were both a lot younger looking back then!
They’ve been in love since 2008 when Zee first met Zoey, and in 2016 they remain a cat couple in love.
Zee is surrounded by his other feline cat-mates – his children, Peanut, Rolz, and Mia, along with our rescues, Kizmet and Jazmine.
This is a recent picture of Zee – he occasionally manages to escape through my legs when I open the back door into the back yard. His favorite thing to do is sit on the tiki deck to absorb some sunshine and watch the world go by.
Happy Birthday my sweet boy – you have brought such love and joy into our hearts and home and wishes for many, many more. I also wish to pay respects on this very difficult day to all the lives lost on 9/11. Your memories remain forever in our hearts and I pray for a world where senseless brutally and unspeakable inhumanity doesn’t exist.

We miss commenting here! The head peep’s schedule means she has recently been setting aside time to comment on Mondays, and almost everyone posts that day. She needs to be better about visiting the bloggers who only post on weekends. Good help is so hard to find.
