Semi-Wordless Wednesday: Weekend Update
Despite that Rick is sleeping on the cat’s bed, he was a very good boy…
For Semi-Wordless Wednesday I thought I’d give you a brief update to let you know how we all survived dog-sitting Rick last weekend. First off, let me make it extremely clear that he is a very good dog and we only had a few incidents that needed to be addressed per the cats.
Kizmet states his case loud and clear…
1. Rick is not a noisy dog and the only time we heard him bark was when Kizmet took it upon himself to draw a territory line between the kitchen and the living room. Rick wanted to pass by, Kizmet told him no, Rick decided to take a different route. Rick is a very smart dog.
If only I had some extra toys, then I’d be sure to share…
2. Jazmine LOVES her toys, but we decided while Rick was with us to put them up somewhere high where he could not get them. Somehow an errant stuffed angry bird toy found its way into Rick’s mouth. Jazmine, extremely indignant at what she was witnessing, took the toy away from him and placed it up onto the counter where he could not reach it. Jazmine is a very smart cat.

3. Zee is a surly old mancat. If Rick even so much as looked at him, Zee would swat him. As I said, Rick is a smart dog, so it only took him once to learn not to look at Zee.
So, in keeping it short and sweet, that about sums up Rick’s weekend with us. Happy Wednesday all!

Loved this! As Rick’s “owner” I can attest that he is a good boy for adapting because he certainly in the ruler over at our house! So happy that everyone got along so well. Bad news for the kitties – Easter is Sunday and Rick is coming back!
