Caturday…Alone Again… Naturally…

Ah… so far, so good, says Jazmine. Jackie is giving me loving scratches behind my ears and spoiling me just like I planned…
Well, Jackie has been here for over a week and we thought our plans of having her give us extra loving, snuggles, treats, and playtime was under control. I mean really, what more could she possibly want than to spoil us kitties 24/7? Hmmphffff…. turns out humans sure can be selfish… Can you believe it, Mom and Dad actually take Jackie out at all times of the day and night to do things with her… Things that DON’T INCLUDE US! We know… Shocking, right? Well, if you don’t believe us, just look at the pictures to follow…

This was the night they abandoned us to go take a walk in town before stopping to get ice cream… We like ice cream, but did they ask us… No…. Just look at Mom and Jackie… could they look any happier? And how come when we want to go outside we just get yelled at and are told “no.”

Here is a close-up of the happy traitors… Whatever… just wait until you see the gifts we left you in the litter box!!

Seriously… you just woke up and now you’re going out and leaving us for the morning to go for a walk? What about our coffee? Who is going to make that?

This is Mom and Jackie enjoying a nature trail walk… Had anyone bothered to ask us, we would have enjoyed going as well… Sigh… selfish, selfish humans…

Oh look what they found on their walk… a delicious… um… we mean delightful spider. Did they think to bring it home for us to eat… um.. we mean admire? No… of course not…

Okay… perhaps we could forgive the ice cream run and the nature trail walk, but this, this is so upsetting that we can barely comment… Can you believe what Mom came home smelling like after the last time they left the house? Benedict Arnold, we tell you!

Yup… Hard to imagine, but Mom, Dad, and Jackie went to a DOG PARK just to enjoy the night hanging out with some friendly canines!! They didn’t even know these dogs, they just wanted to play with them!! This is Mom with a Rottweiler puppy… Could she look any happier?

Yup!! Turns out she could be happier!! Just look how over joyed she and that slobbery, silly puppy are!!
Sigh… Being abandoned and neglected is horrible. If only we had something to do while they were gone. Huh? Who chimed in and said we nap 16 hours a day anyway? Always a smart-alec in the crowd!

How dare they keep leaving us… Oh wait, never mind… I guess they do have time for us after all! Thank you for the warm and snuggly lap, Jackie!!
So friends, how about you? Do your humans abandon you like ours do? Rumor has it that ours might go to the Zoo one of these days… Like we aren’t enough to look at…
Happy Caturday all and as a side note, the Petties voting is finally over – for those of you that took time out of your days to vote for us, we truly appreciate it and thank you so very much!
We feel your pain, buddies… “Selfish”, “traitors”, yes, our beans abandon us sometimes too, and yes, it’s very shocking ! They do it the same way as yours : they eat yummy food, they pet other pets, they have a walk in interesting areas, WITHOUT us ! Purrs
Jazmine has gotten so big!
One of the joys of being a dog is we get to go with the pawents. I get to go everywhere with ma because I am a service dog but sometimes its not all fun and games out there. Trust me kitties, kids run up to you and start petting you and who knows where their hands have been! Look at it this way, someone has to stay behind and guard the house.
Wags and Wuvs my friends,
Carma Poodale
Sure looks like a whole lot of fun going on!
Oh YES my humans abandon me too !
Especially my mom-person is hopeless like run over frog 🙂
Looks like your mom and Jackie had a lot of fun together and the nature trail walk looks very nice !
XOXO
I LOVE it! I’m so glad Jackie’s there. I’ll continue to live vicariously through you guys….keep those awesome photos coming!
Now, now, cut your Mom some slack. She doesn’t get to see Jackie much and she works SUPER HARD and deserves to go out and do some “girly” things…now, as for the dog part, I don’t get it! Living with a woofie is bad enough but voluntarily GOING OUT TO FIND THEM??? THAT I would be upset about! Take her temperature! Love, Cody xoxo
Beautiful photos. Good luck on The Petties.
Our humans abandon us all the time! But they always come home to us, thank cod.
Kitties, you all have it so rough. I love you all and wish you were all mine but I struggle with my only Princess, Angel, my 13-yr old Himalyan. She loves having the windows & doors open to look outside and smell the smells. Sometimes she sleeps on the stool in front of the back door. She was my daughter’s cat for 5 years and she HATED it outside, but when she came to live with me, she always wants to be outside but I have to watch her around my plants; she likes to eat them. Love the picture of you and your daughter Deb and all your pictures. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have a backyard similar to your 1st picture with your daughter with the water and bridge. I also would like to have one of those big catwalks I have seen; those are very natural for animals and one day I hope to have one; we’ll see. Thank you for sharing your stories, family, and cats with us. Love you!
Oh no, a D O G! but nice to see you with Jackie. I wonder which cat might be a good candidate for leash training?
Okay, you had me TOTALLY on board until I saw the spider. He’s kind of scary. Not to mention creepy. And perhaps a little crawly, too. If they’re visitin’ spiders, perhaps it’s best to stay at home. Just sayin’…

Uh Oh! I suspect mutiny in the ranks!! These humans can be so darned selfish!! And a D O G!!!!! What the …. ? I suspect some serious retraining is on the cards here!! 😉 xox
Nooooooo…..not with a..a.. D-O-G!
Our mom totally abandons us on a DAILY basis and this past month has been especially egregious. Seriouslies! Coming home after 9 PM? Going out of town on weekends to “help the parents move” (likely story)? HAH.
We’re with you – c’mon, let’s go redecorate the litterbox. Who’s with us???
