It’s funny – I have actually been taking it a bit more easy the past couple of weeks, but I still feel tired. I think it is a combination of that sad and melancholy feeling that often occurs after being with the kids for a week during the holidays, and then, just like that, the house is quiet and they are gone. I also had to go back to my administrative day job after several days off and must admit it was hard to get back into that routine when my mind was still at home daydreaming of kitties, blogging, taking down decorations and things of that nature!

Oh well, Kizmet has it right… we’re settling back into the routine, he’s got his naps fully under control, and it’s already Wednesday with the weekend only 2 days away!!

Cats always have the right idea. If I could live a cat’s life, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Naps are crucial to one’s own being during the week. Even if it’s just a catnap before dinner or after you get home from work. And yes, fortunately the weekdays are halfway over. Yippeee!

  12. I know how you feel. I was on annual leave for two weeks and it was difficult to get back to work.

  13. Cheysuli says:

We’re still struggling to get back into the routine too.

  14. We wish we could settle into routine but SOMEhuman over here has decided to refinish hardwood floors – HISSELF! Dust in our furs, banished to a back bedroom – *sigh* canz we choose Door Number Two pleez?

    • Deb says:

Oh dear, Maxwell, Faraday & Allie, boy to we ever know what you mean… or at least some of us OLDER kitties do… the HUMANS did a TOTAL home renovation years ago and the entire ordeal was horrifying… *shudder* Good luck with it!

  15. Mr Puddy says:

    Good nap Plus Cute…What’s a pawsome day : )

  16. Penelope says:

The cats and dogs have gotten back into our routine faster than I have! The Dogs want their walk at 7:30 (in the dark) and Nellie wants her heating pad on when I sit down at Mission Control.
Even though I only has the Mondays off, I too am feeling really tired.
