While our hearts remain sad and heavy in the aftermath of the tragedy in Newtown, we are still grateful and overwhelmed by the generosity, kindness, and goodness of most people. Most of us feel joy by making other people happy without expecting anything in return and that is what I feel like announcing the winner of our Sleepypod mobile pet carrier giveaway.

The response to this product was incredible and I wish I could win the lottery so that I could get one for everyone who left a comment. Unfortunately I have yet to perfect the act of picking all the winning numbers (let alone even one or two numbers on one single ticket), so the best I can do is give away the one generously offered by the wonderful people at Sleepypod!!

The comments were really great and there is no doubt everyone agrees with my kitties – the Sleepypod is awesome! I was particularly taken by the comment Kristen Coons left about her rescue cat who has medical issues and is losing her fur. Her kitty needs extra warmth, so having the pet warming pad as part of the giveaway was an extra special bonus to her. I am happy to say that Kristen has won the contest and we are thrilled we will be able to make her cat feel warm and secure.
