In the spirit of Wordless Wednesday, today’s post will be short and sweet. First off, I am thrilled to announce that the winner of the ModaPet feeding bowl from last week’s giveaway contest is Laurie Steiner who will be receiving a bowl in the beautiful Teal Appeal color!! Concats! I just know you will love it!

Next on the list, I am so bummed to say that I won’t be able to attend Blog Paws this year (the conference is being held in Las Vegas – Thursday, May 8th through Saturday, May 10th). For all of my friends who will be there, I hope you have a great time and I can’t wait to see all the pictures! I also want to give a special shout out to my dear friend and fellow cat advocate, Christine Michaels of Riverfront Cats and Pawsitively Humane. She and I are normally roomies during these types of conferences and she will be in attendance. She is up for 2 prestigious Nose-to-Nose Social Media Awards (Best Cause Blog and Best Pet Blog Video) and I will be crossing my fingers for her to win! I will also be cheering on all of my other friends who are up for awards and wish everyone the best of luck!

Zee and Zoey are also contenders for an award and it is bittersweet – it is for Best Blog Post  for the tribute post I wrote when Dan and I helped  Mr. Jazz  cross to the Bridge last August 28th. Regardless of whether we win or not, I am just so honored that his post touched people’s hearts enough to be considered a finalist. BlogPaws will be live streaming the awards event (the Red Carpet walk begins at 6:00 p.m., PST, and the ceremony begins at 7:00 p.m.) as well as the opening remarks and keynote speakers so if any of you care to join in, please click here for the Ustream account.

Oh well… I hope to see everyone next year, but my biggest concern, who’s going to get all the guys in attendance to wear cat ears?
