Hill’s Science Diet for Cats – Gourmet Gift Basket Giveaway!
As my series for the Hill’s Science Diet company comes to a close, if there is anything I have learned is that there is a huge variety of food options available for our cats and a wide opinion of what best to feed them. In my house, my cats are proverbial creatures of habit and that includes both the food they eat and the time they want it. Their schedule is so internally structured by them that I could set an alarm to their eating needs. 6:30 am is breakfast, 6:00 pm is dinner, and 9:00 pm is snack time. When I get home from work each evening, they are waiting by the door for me and it is hard to walk into the kitchen to put my purse down without tripping over a cat or two. The ritual begins – kibble mixed with special canned food geared towards their dietary needs. Every night is the same thing and it always reminds me of Thanksgiving dinner – the meal is something you look forward to all day long and then a split second later you are done eating it and the moment is over!
The kitties patiently wait in the office for me to wrap up the day… they know once I am done that it will be play and treat time!
Before bedtime is our favorite time. We just got a new kitty, and have been reading lots of blogs about bonding and care. One thing that I’ve already seen first hand helped us bond is feeding time. We now take turns laying down the food as a family so Lily feels closer to us all.

Your cats are beautiful. I have one. His name is Tiger and he reminds me of Morris the Cat.
My cats get a the same hard food all the time, and a slight variation in canned food. You’d be surprised how finicky cats can be. 2 of my 3 cats wouldn’t touch the shrimp and fish. I mean come on, their cats and they wouldn’t eat fish. So I get it for the one cat on special occasions and feed the other two something else.
