There’s not many households where sibling kitties are still living with their cat parents, but in my household, they are! Mia, Peanut, and Rolz are graced to have mama Zoey and papa Zee in their lives and it’s been an incredible journey watching them grow together as a family. They remain bonded and devoted to one another which makes it all the more fitting for this Father’s Day!
Zee – we love you buddy!! You are such a kind, sweet, loyal, and devoted companion. You are the best Cat Daddy I know and it’s no wonder your babies still dote on you with loving adoration. Happy Father’s Day to you, and Happy Father’s Day to all those fathers out there – both feline and human!

How wonderful that this sweet family is together — huge props to you! Some years back, in another location, my then-husband and I worked for years on spay/neuter and adoption of a huge community of cats. The matriarch, who was semi-feral, took years to earn my trust, but once she did, she and as many of her family as we could persuade were fixed and adopted, either by us or, if small kittens, rescued by a rescue-adopter. The eldest sons and daughters of this little mama and she herself stayed with us. They were very close and loving. Anyone who is under the mistaken notion that cats do not bond has another think coming; and families should never be separated, just like with humans.
