Mine… Mine… Mine… Wordless Wednesday

Just chillin with my new toy...
Now that Zee has turned six, he feels he has done his job – he’s been a good husband to Zoey (albeit out of wedlock) and helped raise four very active kittens into successful young cats. Well, now it’s his time to take a stand for himself….

"Excuse me Zee," says Jazz, "but I'm the eldest cat here and I want that toy!"

Zoey glares as she wonders what is going on. Peanut is ready to help investigate for her Mom.

"Hmmmpfh.... I'll just take that if you don't mind. After all, I AM the Queen," says Zoey.

"Okay... NO MORE MR. NICE GUY," says Zee politely. "Possession is 9/10th of the law and this mouse is MINE!! Is that okay with you, Zoey?"
Haha, so cute! I love all the photos. I just discovered your blog through the WW Hop, great meeting you all! Hold your ground, Zee! 🙂
Hi Julie! So nice of you to drop by! We love making new friends! We are trying to toughen Zee up and I will tell him to hold his ground!
Bad Kitty Bo never has a problem proclaiming his ownership of everything he fancies, including a few of the dog’s toys. Puff that Coonie chest out and take what you deserve, Zee!
Oh boy Vicky – it seems our mancat Maine Coon needs some lessons in self assertion! I hope he will take the time to read today’s blog comments to follow all the advice he has been getting! 🙂
Oh, Zee. You just hang on to that mouse. They’ll give up after a while.
Bunch of bullies, right Sage?!!!!
Don’t let anyone take it away from you (and I mean anyone!–sometimes our humans come along and take toys from me!)
Chey… isn’t that the truth – I carefully place my beloved toys all about the house and human Mom is insistent upon bringing them back to what she calls our “toy basket.” Doesn’t she realize all the extra work she is causing me, as I now have to retreive these toys, yet again, and carefully put them back where I want them… sigh… xoxo from Zee
That’s like our house. EK has to have whatever toy we girls are playing with. Defend your toys!
Zee is trying to defend his toys pumpkinpuddy, but with an additional six kitty mates in the house, it is not always so easy!
That look so fun !!!!
May I join ? * shake my butt, ready to pounce ! ”
xox
Mr. Puddy – if you came to visit, even Zoey would share her toys, that’s how much we love you!! 🙂
The poor darling! Zee is the quintessential put upon dad! Henpecked to boot – or is that catpecked? lol About time those kidults were out earning their keep instead of sponging off their pawrents 😛 Bless ’em all xox
Yes Caro, poor dear Zee is the stereotypical Walter Mitty of the cat world! He means so well and just hates to see anyone upset! Zoey long ago felt the children should have packed their bags like their brother Zeuss Catt who moved to Boston and agrees with your opinion! Zee, well, he would just be at a total loss without them!
Poor beautiful Zee…he’s too sweet to have to fight for his toys!
Funny thing, Create With Joy – we literally have several baskets filled to the brim with hundreds of toys…. why they all need the same toy at the same time… well, it’s just like raising children, now that I think about it!!
Good for you, Zee! You have to stand up for yourself!
LOL Tucker! I guess he is turning into quite the Norma Rae!
Cute!! I love watching animals play with their toys. Until Zoe came along, the toys at our house were ignored. Now she has them everywhere!! Happy Wednesday!
Kristin, we have so many toys, we could easily open a pet store and make enough money to pay the mortgage for a month!!!
You are WAY more polite than my kitty June Buggie! woo woo!
Rumpydog – the funny thing is, years ago, Zee was a very NAUGHTY kitty and was always getting a “time-out!” He is such a good boy now!
Uh oh!! It seems a little tense in there!! 🙂 I hope there’s not about to me a catastrophic cat fight! LOL
If anyone hasn’t got any toys, you’re welcome to come over and share mine! 🙂
Your pal Snoopy 🙂
Snoopy – what a sweetie you are to share! Please come to our house to teach my unruly gang some manners!! 🙂
Zoey is DEFINITELY the Queen!
We bow to your wise words Bernadette!
Such great photos! They must be models – all of them! 🙂
Hi Chloe! Glad you enjoyed the photos – they are not models – just camera hogs who have grown up around a camera!!
Hai Zee and Zoey!! Its furry nice to meets you. I saw your comment on my guest post over at Pumpkin’s blog. You and your momma has a fantastic looking blog. I hope you comes by to visit my blog and hope you get some goodies from our shop too.
*nosetaps*
Hi Baby Patches! How sweet of you to drop by to say hello!! We love making new friends and are so happy you like the design of our blog! We will definately come by your blog for some goodies! xoxo
I am surprised it took Zee six years to think that he has done his job, that is actually quite good for a male lol Great pictures btw.
LOL Veronica! That is very funny!!! Glad you enjoyed the pics!
Aren’t there enough mice so that everyone can have one without feeling the need to so emphatically claim one? MOL.
MOL Julia…. finally, someone with some common sense to state the obvious!!! It is the most ridiculous thing ever…. somewhat like being in a day care center for two year old’s – the room is filled with toys, but they all want the same one at the same time!!!
Well, in the end, it looks like everybody got at least a little time with that mousie. Maybe you can as Santa Claws to bring you some more so you can each have your own. 🙂
Meowmeowmans – oh my stars!! They each have enough toys on their own that they should give some to Santa Claws to give to other kitties!!!!
