Mancat Monday – King of the Castle
Thanks to Hurricane Irene, I had to leave BlogPaws sooner than I anticipated. So much sooner, that I literally had minutes to pack and catch an early flight home. Due to my completely flustered state of mind, I left my camera at the hotel with all of my pictures for upcoming posts detailing the event. So much for being timely…
Zee has kindly agreed to be my plan “B” until my camera arrives (Caren Gittleman of Cat Chat was kind enough to pick up my camera for me and is mailing it to me) and has graciously allowed me to use a picture of him for Mancat Monday. Okay, I’m completely stretching the truth here…. he has no idea I am using this picture and I did not ask for his permission at all…
Anyhow, lets just roll with the punches and proceed as if all is normal! Happy Monday! Without further ado:
There is no doubt in our house that Zee is the King of the Castle and our favorite Monday Mancat. Showing he means business, Zee is sitting quite regally inside the top tier of his five-story kitty castle condo to reign over his kingdom. When you’re King of the Castle, the best vertical space in the house is always reserved for you!
See you all later this week after I get my camera with my take on the BlogPaws Conference!

Zee’s gorgeous face more than makes up for the delay of the BlogPaws pics!
Vicky – I totally agree with you on that one! Especially since Dan was not with me at BlogPaws! Because I took most of the pictures, the quality is sorely lacking in talent and skill!! 🙁
Zee is definitely “the ManCat”. And he knows it lol
Looking forward to seeing the pics when you get the camera back and I’m sure they are pure quality!
Oh Caro! What a sweetheart you are for being so kind… but… they really are NOT pure quality! The lighting was horrible, I did not pay even the slightest bit of attention to the compositon, and most of the pictures of the animals are blurry because they kept moving!! But, I will admit that they came from the heart – we all had such a blast and that’s really all that matters!
“he has no idea I am using this picture and I did not ask for his permission at all…” Oh my, that made me LOL big time. Thanks, I needed that! But geez Zee, when you’re that gorgeous, ya gotta expect pictures.
Weetzie’s – we are happy we gave you today’s smile! And you are right, he is a cat-parazzi magnet when it comes to gorgeous pictures!!!
I could look at Zee forever! I am hoping he is happy with how handsome he looks and knowing how much we all love him.
Your camera is Florida bound! It will be there Wednesday!
It was wonderful FINALLY meeting you and sharing some girl time at BlogPaws! I wish we both could have stayed til Sunday but imagine what wrecks we would have been if we had.
Love you!
Hi Caren! I hope one day you can come to Florida and meet Zee in person! He truly is the sweetest boy and really is quite humble about his beauty! He is very aware, however, of how well loved he is! THANK YOU so much for sending my camera that is filled with all kinds of photos that Cody would surely be telling me have room for improvement!!! (poor Dan, I shudder to show him these images). It was so wonderful meeting you and I feel somehow short-changed that we could not spend more time together! But I guess the havoc of Irene was enough for Tyson’s Corner to handle! Salt Lake City, watch out!!! Love you back!
We packed in a crazy rush too, and today I realized that my Chi Flat Iron (hair straightener) is nowhere to be found. I have a call into the hotel, but don’t hold out much hope in finding it. We’ll see. I’m glad you located your camera, and look forward to seeing your photos. In the meantime, I’ll agree with you that Zee is super handsome and manly!!
Oh…. sorry about your Chi Flat Iron – luckily I realized very quickly that I had forgotten the camera and was able to get a friend to grab it for me. Hope the iron turns up for you – I will keep my paws crossed! Yes, Zee sure is a handsome guy! 🙂
