As usual, Zee and Zoey are nowhere to be found as they leave not only me to manage THEIR campaign, but now they have resorted to child labor, utilizing Peanut and Mia at the helm!<\/p><\/div>\n

When you are trying to manage six cats to run for the title of Cat Ruler of the World, there is a lot that can change with these finicky felines during the course of a day or two. So, in that regard, since our debate on Tuesday and all the special posts that were done by each cat about the shelter they are campaigning for on Thursday, we have the latest updates fresh off the press (dining room table)\u00a0for you!!<\/p>\n

It seems Austin of CATachresis <\/a>took Tuesday\u2019s debate about cat napping very seriously, as he apparently went on a 48 hour nap binge and was unable to post about his shelter on Thursday.\u00a0Let\u2018s just say it\u2019s like the relationship status in facebook, \u201cIt\u2019s Complicated,\u201d and leave it at that.\u00a0 But there’s more, not\u00a0only did\u00a0he wake up to find out\u00a0 he is campaigning for a new shelter, Freshfields Animal Rescue<\/a>, he also has a campaign manager!!<\/p>\n

Yes, it\u2019s true! Nellie, The Cat From Hell<\/a>, has stepped up to the plate to put Austin\u2019s campaign into full swing. No more napping kitties\u2026 game is on!! We welcome Nellie and look forward to what she has stored up her paws!!\u00a0She has already taken charge of the remiss shelter issue and has announced that there is a post about\u00a0the wonderful people at the Freshfields organization that can be read here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Tiniest Tiger Tote<\/p><\/div>\n

Next update is about our super amazing grand prize package for one lucky random reader. Gracey the Tiniest Tiger<\/a> whose human was in\u00a0Namibia,\u00a0Africa\u00a0visiting with the\u00a0Cheetah Conservation Fund<\/a> caught wind of the contest when she got back and wanted to help this great campaign for a \u00a0cause. She and Gracey will be donating a Tiniest Tiger Tote from Triple T Studios <\/a>and we thank them both so much!<\/p>\n

The last item is not an update, but we want to remind everyone that our terrific sponsors are not just helping out whichever shelter wins the contest. So many people commenting on our blog and the Cat-idate\u2019s blogs wish all the shelters could win. We agree. And while there is only one grand prize winning shelter, all the runner up shelters will also be getting prizes.
