I met Christine Michaels of Riverfront Cats <\/a>as I have most of my new cat loving friends – through blogging. Christine is an incredible young woman who has taken it upon herself to care for a colony of feral and stray cats in\u00a0the Miami Riverfront area. When I was nominated for a Petties Award for “Best Designed Blog,” she was my chosen recipient, had I won the award. While I did not win the money to help with her cause, I did win a friend for life. I admire Christine enormously and when she took time out of her busy schedule to review my book, I was honored. Her opinin\u00a0 means the world to me and it is my hope that I can help her in her crusade to help educate people on the epidemic of cat overpopulation and the crucial need for spaying and neutering.<\/p>\n
