From the gloriously sun drenched days to the tropical nights filled with the lingering scents of jasmine and orange blossoms intoxicatingly enticing the nostrils, it is a wonderment indeed. But even for us in Florida, the adage \u201cApril Showers Brings May Flowers\u201d has special meaning to our 24\/7\/365 day calendar that barely has a change in seasons.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2360\" style=\"width: 240px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a class=\"zoomImg\" href=\"http:\/\/zeezoey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Peanut-Outside.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2360\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2360 \" title=\"Peanut-Outside\" src=\"http:\/\/zeezoey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Peanut-Outside.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"230\" height=\"393\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zeezoey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Peanut-Outside.jpg 460w, https:\/\/zeezoey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Peanut-Outside-175x300.jpg 175w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 230px) 100vw, 230px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2360\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Peanut trying to reach out for a bug...<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Somehow in May, it is as if the dusty, dirty film of winter has been lifted and all the plant life takes on an enchanting new look and feel. Everything just looks so clean and fresh and has a renewed beauty after a rain shower cleanses the landscape. Colors become completely saturated in tones so intense, vivid, and bright that one would almost think God were Photoshopping the entire vision, so brilliantly beautiful that it could not possibly be real.<\/p>\n<p>But it is real, as our kitties will quite willingly tell you.
