Sigh...<\/p><\/div>\n

… bring May flowers.\u00a0 Being a fan of flowers (and the bees that hide in them) I like this rhyme.\u00a0 In theory.\u00a0 In reality, I hate it.\u00a0 I hate rain.\u00a0 Rainy days mean that I have to stay in all day, since the humans don’t like to get wet.\u00a0 Without them, I can’t go outside.\u00a0 Rain also ruins the view from my loft.\u00a0 On sunny days there’s plenty of things to look at through every window in the house, like squirrels and birds, but rain seems to prevent these creatures from venturing out.\u00a0 Granted, the birds will be back in droves when the rain stops, but until then BLAH!\u00a0 Maybe I should have titled this blog “Rain Rain Go Away…” and left the second line off.\u00a0 Don’t bother coming back!<\/p>\n

Since it’s been raining for a few days, I’ve had to have my fun indoors. My humans are great about playing with me and keeping me entertained, so I really have little to complain about.\u00a0 We play with boxes, lasers, golf and ping-pong balls, a tennis ball, plastic strips, fake mice… you get the idea.\u00a0 Sometimes we wrestle.\u00a0 I love my humans, and my toys, and I love playing with humans and toys at the same time.\u00a0 Nonetheless, sometimes I like to strike out on my own and do my own thing.<\/p>\n

I think exercise is fun.\u00a0 Running around the house at top speed keeps me very fit.\u00a0 Many of our floors have rugs, and I can run VERY fast on rugs.\u00a0 Sometimes, though, I don’t feel like running with all four of my legs.\u00a0 Sometimes I like to run with only my front legs, while my back legs take it easy.\u00a0 I’ve found a few different ways to accomplish this:<\/p>\n

I don’t always have fun on my mind.\u00a0 Often I try to improve myself in an area that I feel needs improving.\u00a0 Some days I’ll practice my writing, for instance.\u00a0 (How do you think I got so good at this?) Recently, I’ve been working on improving my balance.\u00a0 Being a cat, I’m blessed with a strong foundation when it comes to balance, but one can always improve.\u00a0 Here I am, improving:
