Zoey always loved the holidays\u2014especially the warmth of the Christmas tree’s lights.<\/p><\/div>\n

It\u2019s the holidays, and I\u2019m trying very hard to manage the pain amongst the joy. I miss my beloved Zoey so much. I\u2019ve been living in relative denial, not truly believing her last breath was taken in my arms, the late evening of November 19. But something simple\u2014pulling out the Christmas stockings, each one embroidered with my cat\u2019s name, was a harsh jolt that she\u2019s not with me. I carry the sadness in my heart every moment of the day. Still, I\u2019m trying to be grateful for what I have\u2014my dear family, friends, Dan, and my remaining clowder\u2014Mia, Peanut, Rolz, Kizmet, Jazmine, and Shadow.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m sorry if I\u2019ve brought anyone down. I\u2019m just speaking the truth of my heart. But I didn\u2019t want the day to pass without letting you know how blessed I am to have you all as part of Zee and Zoey\u2019s Cat Connection.
