\"\"<\/a>If there is one thing I have learned since we launched Zee & Zoey\u2019s Chronicle Connection last October, is that a lot of people LOVE cats and there are A LOT of blogs to talk about the love of them! While Zee and Zoey (primarily Zoey) don\u2019t really like to share the limelight, I, on the other hand, do, and that\u2019s why I have put together a new feature I refer to as \u201cDeb\u2019s Cat Stamp of Approval\u201d where I recommend other great cat blogs and sites I have found along the way!<\/p>\n

The first blog I\u2019d like to introduce you to is called \u201cCat Chat<\/a>\u201d and features the sharp-witted writing skills of Cody the cat and his human Mom, Caren Gittleman. Cody is the self-proclaimed writer of the family and can be a bit harsh on his human as witnessed in one of my favorite posts, \u201cThe 2010 Annual Purr-fur-mance Review<\/a>,\u201d whereby he reviews Caren and Cat Chat <\/a>on things such as words, pictures, and videos. Right off the bat, he quite openly berates Caren for her photography skills, likening her blog pictures to \u201cPoop.\u201d He\u2019s not too crazy about her writing ability either, but does admit that she is a very kind person and that he loves her very much! Well Cody, all I can say, is that I think her blog is very well done \u2013 extremely informative, entertaining, and very current with the daily goings on in the cat world. But then again, I\u2019m only a human, so I suppose my opinion does not matter that much!<\/p>\n

Caren is also a product and book reviewer and is always offering up all kinds of great cat related advice – please be sure to stop by to see the latest and greatest gadget available for your cat as well as what should be put on your feline \u201cto read\u201d list.\u00a0 Last but not least, Cat Chat\u00a0 <\/a>has a fantastic page on facebook<\/a>, so be sure to stop by and give them a “like”!!<\/p>\n

I would like to do a “shout out” as well to the blog, \u00a0Adventures of a Suburban Kitty<\/a>, and Pumpkinpuddy who is the blog’s beautiful Maine Coon cat author and star. Sadly, Nimbus, who was also a\u00a0Maine Coon and part of Pumpkinpuddy’s family has just passed away.\u00a0\u00a0Please stop by to pay your respects to this\u00a0special cat by posting a cat-dolence comment for him. As you know, our beloved Zee is a Maine Coon, so we know just what a special boy Nimbus was and how much he will be missed.<\/p>\n

On a very different note, I would like to mention a fantastic fund-raiser I found as a way to donate on behalf of animals in the aftermath of the devastating disaster in Japan. It is called\u00a0Japan Animal Aid<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0and it is a program initiated by\u00a0\u00a0World Vets<\/a>\u00a0 They have created\u00a0an official donation page\u00a0as well as a \u00a0“ChipIn widget” for those who prefer paypal and wish to share on social media sites. Due to their wonderful efforts, over 150 pet blogs have united to donate and share this link and all of us at the Chronicle Connection are proud to be included in that number. The funds raised will be used for veteranary programs, ground resuces, supplies, shelter, and food. We truly\u00a0hope you will find it in your hearts to help out.<\/p>\n
