Despite coming from the same parents and living in the same house their whole lives, and despite the similarity in their spotted pattern, Rolz, Mia, and Peanut couldn’t be more different from one another! This was them at about 12 weeks.<\/p><\/div>\n

Noooooooooooooooooooo!!! Another year couldn’t have possibly flown by, but alas, it has! Seems like just yesterday I shared a post about Mia, Peanut, and Rolz turning 7, and now I’m sharing one to wish them a happy 8th birthday! So, without further adieu, Happy 8th Birthday to my precious, sweet darlings! Despite your adult age, you will always be kittens in my heart and I love you all so very much. I’ve watched you grow up – literally from the time you were in your mama Zoey’s belly, to now, where you’ve grown into such distinctly unique and wonderful beings.<\/p>\n

Mia, my shy, little love. I am so pleased to see how you’ve empowered yourself to come out of your shell with a charming boldness, chirping for love and attention. Every night when I sit on the couch to watch TV you can’t wait to come and snuggle on my legs – last year that never would have happened and now you actually wait for me in anticipation. I love our special time together – you still won’t allow me to pick you up – that’s completely unacceptable – but I’m okay with respecting your boundaries.<\/p>\n

\"Mia\"<\/a>

My sweet Mia – I just love the sing-song chirps you use to communicate when you want some love and attention!<\/p><\/div>\n

And Peanut, my already always friendly and gregarious girl, you have turned into quite the handful! I love you dearly, but wouldn’t mind if you didn’t feel 4:30 a.m. was our special time to bond. The pats to my cheek and the meowing in my ears is nice, but I promise I will never, ever forget to feed you breakfast. But thanks for the early wake-up call reminder nonetheless.<\/p>\n

\"Peanut\"<\/a>

My loving Peanut – always in a good mood and friend to anyone who might want to pick her up or pet her.<\/p><\/div>\n

And my boy Rolz, you’ve grown into quite the entertainer. Once a very aloof cat, you now regale us with your meowing tales of whatever is going on in your mind. Sometimes we’ll hear you clear across the house, sometimes it’s when you’re on the kitchen counter, patiently waiting to be fed for the umpteenth time (you clearly live by the motto if I’m refilling my cup of coffee…again<\/em>…you should get a snack in tandem), or when we have overnight guests and you stand by the guest bedroom door and share a very loud and vocal conversation with them until they open the door and let you in (so you can instantly walk back out, of course).<\/p>\n

\"Rolz\"<\/a>

You just keep watch on the counter Rolz – eventually you’ll get that snack you’re waiting for!<\/p><\/div>\n

I hope you have a wonderful day and I promise to spoil you even more than I already do to let you know how much I love you! And a special birthday wish to your brother, Zeuss Catt, who lives a wonderful live up in Boston. We miss him dearly, but are filled with peace knowing he has such a wonderful and fulfilling live up there.<\/p>\n
