From myself and Jazmine, the ultimate biscuit making kitty in our house, thank you so much for your support of Makin’ Biscuits – Weird Cat Habits and the Even Weirder Habits of the Humans Who Love Them! Illustration by Stephanie Piro exclusively for Makin’ Biscuits.<\/p><\/div>\n

Writing and publishing a book is a bit like having a baby. It takes several long months before the book is completed and once it is, you share the news like a proud parent who has just delivered a newborn baby. That\u2019s how I feel with Makin\u2019 Biscuits \u2013 Weird Cat Habits and the Even Weirder habits of the Humans Who Love Them<\/a><\/em>. Now that the book is done, it seems all I do is post pictures about it on social media and talk about it in nearly every conversation.<\/p>\n

But I can\u2019t help it. It\u2019s such a part of me and I\u2019m so excited to share everything about it with all of you. And it seems so do many others \u2013 the book contains over 100 submissions from cat lovers across the globe who shared a story or two about a cat in their life and so in many ways, it\u2019s not just my book, it\u2019s theirs too, and I’m so pleased to say I’ve been getting lots of wonderful and positive feedback from those who contributed.<\/p>\n

In that spirit, I want to take the time to thank you all again. Thank you to those that took time out of their busy schedules to share a submission with me back when the book was nothing more than a bunch of garbled thoughts on a piece of paper. Thank you also to those that have shared the news of the book or bought copies for friends and family members. I\u2019ve been overwhelmed with your excitement and enthusiasm to be included in the book.<\/p>\n

And many days of late, I\u2019ll find out to my surprise that someone\u00a0has shared a picture of their\u00a0cat with the book, or a blog post, or a recommendation as a holiday gift for others \u2013 all unsolicited without me knowing it was going to happen. That means everything to me, as that excitement means we all embrace the idea of wanting to make the world a better place for cats. There have also been people that have shared news of the book via reviews and other methods that I did know about – I am also grateful for that support \u00a0And lastly, thank you to all of you for your patience as I go through this newborn stage. I don\u2019t want to cause Makin\u2019 Biscuits<\/em> overload, so I do appreciate you humoring me when I share the latest happenings in Makin’ Biscuits<\/em> world!<\/p>\n
