Look at the world though the wonderment of a cat’s perspective. It’s an awe-inspiring beautiful place that we should be thankful for each and every day.<\/p><\/div>\n

Our earth is a beautiful entity that sustains our very being – it\u2019s a precious gift to live in such an incredible world and I feel the same about cats that grace this earth \u2013 they are a precious gift that\u00a0bring joy, love, and companionship into our lives. So for Earth Day, I thought it would be appropriate to share some ways that we can recycle stuff to make practical things for not just our own cats, but cats in shelters that could use our love and support.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One of the best ideas I found was using old sweaters and sweatshirts to make cat beds! I know my gang love to sleep on my clothes \u2013 chances are yours do too – so why not make a cat bed out of something you no longer wear! Or better yet, why not make several and donate them to a local shelter? You can also make cat baskets and mats out of old t-shirts or sheets by cutting them into strips and creating yarn to crochet with. The fabric is already nice and soft and they would be perfect to put in shelter cages to make kitty feel more comfortable. I\u2019ve included a couple videos I found on YouTube to get you started!<\/p>\n
