Hi Everyone \u2013 Mia here! My Human Mom (HM) has been extra, super busy lately \u2013 she\u2019s getting ready to go to a pet writing\u00a0conference this weekend that is really, really\u00a0important to her, so I thought I would give her a break and fill in for her since she seems to have all but abandoned the blog this past week. First of all, I know she would want me to thank all of you on her behalf for all the wonderful comments and feedback regarding our AWESOME book cover and sample chapter that you gave her! Don\u2019t my Mama Zoey and Papa Zee look great on the cover? Now you can see why I\u2019m so pretty!<\/p>\n

Anyhow, on to a subject that is much more important to me. Laundry. That\u2019s right, laundry. I LOVE LAUNDRY. Well, not all laundry. I don\u2019t like the laundry that my humans lazily throw on the floor by the bed. It\u2019s all wrinkled and dirty and I don\u2019t really like the thought of curling up on the cold floor to nap on it. Plus, I don\u2019t want my beautiful fur to smell like dirty laundry. Laundry that is tossed at the end of the bed is okay. It still has the scent of my humans on it and it makes me happy and secure to snuggle on top of these clothes. I don\u2019t know if these clothes are on the way to the hamper or the closet, but I like them.<\/p>\n

But my all time favorite laundry in the whole world, is the clothes that mysteriously appear on the bed from some other place that my HM disappears to. She takes old smelly clothes out of the hamper and opens a secret door \u2013 when she comes back from the secret door, the clothes are magically folded, clean, \u00a0and are WARM and SNUGGLY!!! Because my HM NEVER puts these clothes in the closet right away and instead leaves them on the foot of the bed, I know she does it for me to curl up and nap on! Thank you HM! I feel so happy, snuggly, safe, secure and content when I nap on these warm clothes. I dream of all kinds of really nice things like sunbeams and saucers of\u00a0\u00a0 milk. I get HM\u2019s clothes covered in my pretty cat hair, especially her work clothes, and she has to take lots of pieces of clear packing tape to get it off her clothes. I think she enjoys doing that \u2013 she always says, \u201cThanks a lot Mia, I really appreciate you getting hair all over my clean clothes.\u201d I like to make my HM happy because I really love her a lot, so I always make sure to shed as much as possible. Sometimes my sister Peanut or my brother Rolz will throw a hairball up on the bedspread and HM will have to take that to the magic place to wash it and make it come back all warm and comfy.
