Cats and computers… yeah, that would about sum me up. Add chocolate and coffee and we can call it a day. Seen here, I am with Kizmet along with my sweet angel cat, Harley.<\/p><\/div>\n

I think it would be safe to assume that you all know I am a cat lover. Perhaps fanatic would be the better word, but regardless, some of you might not know the background story as to how my love of cats evolved into me becoming an author, award winning blogger, and publisher.<\/p>\n

For all of you pondering your love of cats and writing (or any other cat related venue for that matter), wondering if there is a career in the wait for you, I hope you will consider taking a minute or two to read the interview \u2013 I think you will come to the conclusion that if I was able to turn my passion into something I love doing \u2013 writing about cats \u2013 you\u2019ll be able to do the same!<\/p>\n

This was me back in 2009 when I decided my lack of expertise and experience was not going to stop me from following my dreams – writing and publishing a book about my cats and starting a blog to talk about that process!<\/p><\/div>\n

I also think you will also come away with a better understanding of why organizations such as the Cat Writers\u2019 Association and BlogPaws are so invaluable to helping make those life-changing dreams come true (it\u2019s not too late to register<\/a> for BlogPaws if you want to attend). And if you don\u2019t have time to read the interview, I will\u00a0end this post by\u00a0sharing this tidbit of advice that I wrap the interview up with – those life-changing dreams should NEVER be held back because of your age, lack of training, or someone standing in your way, closing doors on you. If you want something bad enough, it\u2019s about goals, strength, perseverance, determination, figuring it out, putting one foot forward, finding new doors to open, and good old-fashioned roll up your sleeves, don\u2019t give up, hard work!<\/p>\n
