At some point that nap will be interrupted like clockwork with a thunderstorm that will cause all of our wonderful sunbeams to go away. The storms come at least once a day and typically they will occur at some point between 1:00 pm through 5:00 pm, all depending on what time the human mom is scheduled to leave work for the day and has to drive home in the torrential downpour or if we are planning to grill outside. <!--more--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_12946\" style=\"width: 470px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/zeezoey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/DSC5723.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12946\" class=\"size-full wp-image-12946 \" style=\"margin-top: 1px; margin-bottom: 1px; border: 3px solid #81aa55;\" alt=\"_DSC5723\" src=\"http:\/\/zeezoey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/DSC5723.jpg\" width=\"460\" height=\"283\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zeezoey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/DSC5723.jpg 460w, https:\/\/zeezoey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/DSC5723-300x184.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 460px) 100vw, 460px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-12946\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Oh look&#8230;it&#8217;s pouring out now&#8230; Mom must be on her way home from work&#8230;<\/p><\/div>\n<p>These storms often come out of nowhere \u2013 sometimes they are a quick and easy sprinkling of rain and go away in five minutes with the sun quickly to reappear and sometimes they can last for hours, accompanied by pitch black skies, loud booming thunder, and flashing bolts of lightning.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_12947\" style=\"width: 470px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/zeezoey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/BigRedCats.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12947\" class=\"size-full wp-image-12947\" style=\"margin: 1px; border: 3px solid #81aa55;\" alt=\"BigRedCats\" src=\"http:\/\/zeezoey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/BigRedCats.jpg\" width=\"460\" height=\"306\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zeezoey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/BigRedCats.jpg 460w, https:\/\/zeezoey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/BigRedCats-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 460px) 100vw, 460px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-12947\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">No sunshine? No problem&#8230;We&#8217;ll just nap here on the bed until the storm passes&#8230;<\/p><\/div>\n<p>While we miss our sun puddles, we make do as best we can so as not to miss any nap time. \u00a0The storms used to scare us, but now we know that once they start, eventually they will end. The couch or bed is usually where you will find us snuggled up together in the meantime and once the storm is over we get to celebrate and say hello to Mr. Sunshine again! Or Mrs. Sunshine.
