Tour de Cats – Pedestal Edition

Dan and I firmly believe that all cats should be put on a pedestal and there is no doubt whatsoever that our cats are put on the highest one possible as we cater to their every whim, need, and desire. But we don’t just mean it in a figurative sense, we also mean it literally as you are about to see in today’s Tour de Cats because in our house, the pedestal we speak of was originally used as a decorative piece (foolish us) with a lovely candelabra gracing the top of it… that is, until the candles all came crashing to the floor (several times) and foolish us finally realized the cats had decided it was time to redecorate Zee/Zoey style. Do we ever learn?
We now keep the candelabra on the floor next to the pedestal because we think decorating with the cats atop it is a much more unique (and practical) way to go… Nobody needs to be the wiser and we just let people think we have a fabulously unique and eclectic flair for unusual design sense. What do you think? Did we make the right decision?

Years ago when this blog was just in its infancy, Dan did a photo shoot with the cats so that I would have images of them with a black background to work with… seen here is Zee as he poses for his first ever “professional shot!”

Of course the cats belong on the pedestal. How sensible of you to keep it cleaned off for them. All humans should be so sensible. Then they wouldn’t go bonkers when their stuff gets broke.
