I love watching how the sun, at different times of the day or year, brings out the colors in cats’ coats in different ways. So beautiful. Yet another example of turning an ordinary moment into something extraordinary 🙂
Being in New England, having snow yesterday and a very cold house I found myself laying next our cat Kya who found her sun puddle. The best is rubbing her very warm belly after lounging for some time.
Yup, those sun puddles are the best especially on a cold day. Mine all head for the bedroom where it is very warm all morning from the sun. Hope all of you have a great day.
Marg – we have a wonderful bedroom that is filled with sunlight too – we will often find all, or most of the gang napping together during those occassions!
Reba – I wish I could take credit for the phrase, but I have heard it here and there in the cat blogosphere! It is so wonderfully purr-fect to describe it!

Ingrid – you took the words right out of my mouth and you are so right. The sunlight is like a painters brush on the fur canvas of a cat…

Deb – I can feel the warmth of Kya’s sweet belly based on your description! How nice it is that you have her to snuggle with!
