They are all ManCats and they all live under one roof – but each of our boys are completely unique! Our Jr. boy, Rolz, is a quiet and aloof young man whose favorite thing in the whole world is Saturday morning when we take him out for a garden expedition to find lizards! Zee is our one and only original ManCat and the sweetest ManCat on this earth! He is a very loyal and communicative cat who loves not only his humans, but all the other cats in the house! Mr. Jazz is our Sr. ManCat and despite his age, he still can give the youngsters a run for their money! He remains young at heart and is such a lovable cat.  Happy Monday All!!

Heaven’s knows I’ve been spoiled by Dan and the extraordinary gallery of photos that he has taken of the cats over the years for me to chose from when I share a post with you all. Now, he has taken his talents to the big screen (or should I say the big computer screen) as I proudly share his first ever ZeeZoey Partners video production! This was his first project out of the gate, as he is still learning the program, so I can only imagine how much more amazing and creative he will get as time goes on!! Just chillin with my new toy...

Now that Zee has turned six, he feels he has done his job – he’s been a good husband to Zoey (albeit out of wedlock) and helped raise four very active kittens into successful young cats. Well, now it’s his time to take a stand for himself….

"Excuse me Zee," says Jazz, "but I'm the eldest cat here and I want that toy!"

Zoey glares as she wonders what is going on. Peanut is ready to help investigate for her Mom.

"Hmmmpfh.... I'll just take that if you don't mind. After all, I AM the Queen," says Zoey.

"Okay... NO MORE MR. NICE GUY," says Zee politely. "Possession is 9/10th of the law and this mouse is MINE!! Is that okay with you, Zoey?"

Editors Note: It’s been a while since we’ve heard from our buddy Zeuss Catt from Boston. With fall just around the corner, it got me to thinking of when I used to live in Upstate New York – it was right around this time that we would start to see squirrels getting ready for the upcoming winter. I happen to love squirrels, so you can imagine how happy I was when Zeuss decided to share this story about his own fascination with this creature.

For those of us in the vast cat blogosphere, I would wager only a small handful of us have not heard of the Petties Awards, as the event has become prominently mainstream as of late. I know for me personally, it seemed my whole life for the past few months had been consumed with little to nothing else.  Now that the dust has settled and I find myself with time to reflect, I realize that although it truly was an honor to be nominated for “Best Designed Blog,” I also realize the awards are highly subjective and not without certain limitations.  Read more
