Wordless Wednesday – An Exercise Routine for Cat Fitness by Harley

Harley

Step 1 – Put head down and assume comfortable nap position. Remain in comfortable nap position for five full hours.

Step 2 – Lift Head for approximately 7 seconds. If this appears to be too strenuous, lift head for only 3 seconds until enough tolerance is built up for the full 7 second routine that is the ultimate goal.

Step 3 – Drop head back down into full comfortable nap mode for another 3 hours or until called for dinner.

I don’t know about you, but I feel completely invigorated from that stimulating workout that Harley shared with all of us! That is my kind exercise routine and one that I can relate too! Happy Wednesday all – hope I didn’t wear you all out too much with today’s graphic images!

    How ironic, my exercise routine is very similar to Harley’s — it’s just not as an intensive workout! I mean, it takes a real athlete to hold that position for 5hours. I am round shaped too so I must be doing my workout just right!

    Harley is holding his own with his competition: Jillian Michael, Richard Simmons…….

    Whew! I’m exhausted!

    What amazes me is they can awaken from eight hours of sleeping in the same position, and one quick stretch and they can race around the house and climb two cat trees. I’d still be trying to restart my circulation, and feel like I had a bedsore! Harley is lovely to look at–love those torbies!

    Scooter has a slight variation – she sleeps on her back. Instead of raising her head, she will roll over on one side or the other.
