It’s Our Favorite Day – Today is Hug Your Cat Day!

We don’t know how these special days come about, but hugging our cats is something we gladly do each and every day! On behalf of them and all the kitties around the world, a special hug from all of us at Zee and Zoey’s today!
Happy Wednesday all and a special thank you to my Dan for allowing me to use this special picture today. He took it many, many years ago and this beautiful girl is now in her 40’s! I love how precious and innocent she is – the love she has for her cat shines through the black and white of the image. I added the floral background to give the photo a beautiful frame for the sentiment of the photo. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
We think this is probably one of the strangest of these manufactured “holidays,” because at our house, every day is hug your cat day!
We agree with Ingrid about EVERY day being National Hug Your Cat Day and we know that YOU agree with that too, that being said, the photo is one of the MOST ADORABLE ever!

What a purrfect photo for Hug Your Cat Day. Mom thought is was maybe you when you were a young girl. Mommy has a really old photo of her when she was three or four years old hugging her cat Fluffy. There is a picture somewhere of me as a girl hugging our family tabby. I should have used that instead of fighting with Austin. However, it was a much funnier post!! Beautiful picture that Dan took. Obviously his talents started very young!!
